Master Chef Australia
This is a TV Program in STAR WORLD, where a group of people will be tested with their amateur cooking skills and who ever wins will be trained under one of the BEST CHEFS in the world.But the tasks given to them are no more amateur. Participants are tested riguorously. what is this all about ??
One and Half year earlier
I have asked once mentor, now friend Vishnu, "Vishnu, I wanted to move to analytics." He said " What do you know about analytics?" I said " I do not know anything but will learn when I move to analytics team." Vishnu told " It does not work that way." I did not completley agreed with Vishnu that day.
Present
But now I have to agree with him after watching Master Chef Australia Program.If you want to do something or to become something you should have done enough home work.When I wanted to move to analyatics I do not know how it is done ? what tools are employed ? And I do not know how to use them and I expected people to take me into analytics team (under expereince grade) and train me. Which itself is absurd. If you badly wanted to do something you do not require Somebody to come and help you ,you should start right away with what is in your hands. They are lot of people out there who will help ,assist and support you but you just have to show them how badly you wanted what you want. This reminds of two quotes :
