The Day I took the Horse for the Ride
Almost around 10 days back when I went to my Equitation academy the manager at the academy asked me whether I can take the horse for ride independently. I said “Yes” hesitatingly and that is evident in my body language. They called for KESARI (the horse which is so friendly for the all the students). That relieved my pressure for some extent. I mounted the horse and started trotting. She took the speed and started going on her own irrespective of my directions and not even considering that a rider is on her back. She was going into the places where there were pot holes and then did not even change the directions when it was going under long tree weeds, I had to adjust my posture accordingly, then at one time she started going to hit a fence, I somehow managed to change her direction and then she found grass and she started eating it. I tried to pull her with all my efforts but could not able to even move a slight inch. I felt like all my past 10 months of body building was waste. I tried even harder and then finally she gave up and started following my directions appropriately and then followed an awesome ride for 15 minutes. After the entire ride I felt much better and it boosted my confidence.
PS: In retrospection I wonder whether I rode the horse or the horse took pity on me and followed my instructions to make me happy. Horse is one such animal which is friendly to the human and thus survived without being extinct.
